Miam Charitable Trust was established in 2021 by Mrs. Nitu Joshi with the goal of tackling critical socio-cultural, environmental, and socio-economic challenges. The trust, which has its roots in the idea of “Dosro ke liye bhi jeena sikho” (learning to live for others), is evidence of Mrs. Joshi’s constant commitment to making the world a better and more compassionate place.
Our Core Values
Miam Charitable Trust operates on three foundational pillars:
1. Manavta (Humanity): “Humanity” is the greatest quality of human beings. With humanity, a person treats all sources with dignity and respect, whether it is a human, an animal, or the environment. It involves displaying kindness and compassion towards all living beings.
2. Sanskruti (Culture): We believe that culture and traditions are the roots of our spirituality and thinking, uniting us through festivals. We aim to support the younger generation in achieving a balanced and strong mental and emotional development by integrating ancient traditions with modern Western practices through cultural education, celebrations, and traditional practices.
3. Sanskar (Values): We emphasize that every parent should guide their children in building connections and grounding from an early age. Raising children with values of sharing and caring towards family, friends, all animals and the environment helps create a safe and secure society.
Miam Charitable Trust believes that being human and embracing humanity are two different things. Our mission is to bridge the gap in education and basic necessities, ensuring that no one is left behind due to poverty or lack of resources. We strive to create a better world by providing support, education, food, and care to those in need, helping them lead lives of dignity and hope.
We also recognize that social issues arise due to lack of empathy, cultural disconnection and eroding moral values. Therefore, Miam promotes education focused on inculcating compassion, ethics and traditional Indian wisdom especially among the youth.
Furthermore, as all lives matter equally, we work to ensure welfare of destitute animals is not neglected.
With the goal of empowering rural and tribal youngsters by assisting them in preparing for government job tests, Miam Charitable Trust is pleased to announce the opening of two Career Academies. By giving students the tools and direction they need to realize their goals, these academies seek to close the gap between desire and opportunity.
Locations of Career Academies

This academy, which is situated Wagera village, located 35 kilometers from Nasik with limited access to higher education and skill development, provides a platform for students to get ready for tough government exams without having to make the difficult and drawn-out travel.
2. Chintalpeth Village, Gadchiroli:
This institution, which is located in a tribal area, encourages young people to pursue professions in government service and to contribute to the development of their communities by offering them thorough training programs and study materials.
